The Philippines is ready to host the 12th Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Cebu City on Dec. 10-14.
The summit is supposedly an important benchmark to accelerate free trade within the ASEAN region from 2010 to 2015.
Ten ASEAN leaders from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam will converge in Cebu City to discuss a wide range of issues such as trade, investments, security, including the all-out war against international terrorism, among others.
My agency is certainly ready with the tokens (which come from the provinces of Cebu, Negros Oriental and Bohol) for the ministers, their spouses and other foreign dignitaries.
